This purchase agreement is entered into for the purchase of one or more Labrador Retriever and /or Miniature Schnauzer puppies from Bear’s Den Kennels. Your signature at the bottom of the Agreement signifies that you have read, understand and agree to all statements herein contained.
The puppy (s) you are purchasing are guaranteed to be whelped from AKC and/or APRI registered Labrador Retrievers and/or Miniature Schnauzer that are in good health. Bear’s Den Kennels puppies are at least 7 weeks old for personal pickup and at least 8 weeks old for air travel delivery.
All puppies require a $150.00 deposit. Deposits must be paid by cash or money order. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. If you change your mind and do not/cannot get the puppy, you forfeit your deposit.
All shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. This includes Vet Certificate, flight crate, and actual shipping costs. All shipping costs must be PAID IN FULL at least 10 days prior to shipping date.
We guarantee this puppy, to the best of our knowledge, to be healthy and received its first vaccine. The Breeder is not responsible for the death or loss of this puppy once it leaves our premises. This includes, but is not limited to, sickness, accidents, personal injury or theft.
The Breeder will not allow for any refund of the purchase price of the puppy. This includes, but is not limited to, allergy, death, disability, injury or theft. The owner assumes all financial responsibility for the puppy including but not limited to, vet expenses, AKC and/or APRI registration, food, surgeries, boarding, grooming, etc.
The owner assumes responsibility to continue quality healthcare for the puppy. This puppy will require monthly worming (orally) and a series of vaccinations. You are highly encouraged to keep your puppy current with all necessary vet checks.
You have 72 hours to take the puppy to a licensed vet for a complete physical. If for any reason the vet finds a defect in the puppy that will cause certain premature death, the Breeder will exchange the puppy. If a replacement puppy is not available at that time, you will be able to choose a puppy from the next available litter. The Breeder should be contacted immediately with the name and phone number of the vet responsible for performing the exam. The vet will need to provide the Breeder with all test results and a diagnosis IN WRITING. After the 72 hour time frame, this health guarantee is not valid.
The Breeder will not sign AKC papers until your check has cleared your financial institution. We reserve the right to revoke the registration and obtain possession of the puppy if payment is made with a check containing insufficient
funding. You will be subject to a $30.00 service fee.
